I'm Chloé Fontfreyde, an agricultural engineer specializing in the sustainable development of agricultural sectors. In 2016, I created OpaO and launched myself as an entrepreneur 6 years later, ready for new challenges.
Against the backdrop of the current crisis in New Caledonia, I offer support to agricultural businesses and cooperatives in difficulty, as well as assistance with restructuring agricultural sectors: distribution and marketing of local produce.
Before setting up OpaO, I had accumulated a wealth of professional experience, first with the société coopérative d'intérêt collectif Tero en Hexagone, an approved "entreprise solidaire d'utilité sociale" consultancy firm, of which I am still a member. Then I joined the Groupement de Défense Sanitaire Animale, and finally the sustainable development department of the New Caledonian Chamber of Agriculture and Fisheries. These experiences made me versatile and contributed to my expertise in the field of agriculture and the environment.
OpaO offers support services for structures in difficulty, support for the (re)structuring of sectors, consultation, leadership and project management in the agriculture & environment sector, and more broadly in primary production: sustainable agriculture, livestock, aquaculture and fishing.

Support in drawing up agricultural, aquaculture or livestock production forecasts, cash flow forecasts, etc.

Technical studies, co-construction of scenarios, support for decision-making and implementation of emerging sectors...

Workshop and seminar facilitation, project engineering: formulation, steering, reporting, capitalization...

OpaO carried out an exploratory study for a private player, in a context of developing local agricultural sectors and reducing dependence on imports.
As part of its development, start-up Neofly asked OpaO to help it draw up costed scenarios for the valorization of its co-products or "frass"...
OpaO worked with Coop1 and organic farmers in New Caledonia on behalf of the Bio Fetia association, as part of a regional PROTEGE project.
